The Catholic schools of the Diocese of Santa Rosa are in session for 180 days over the course of a school year, per California State requirements. While there is no uniform start date for the school year, high schools usually begin classes the third week of August and elementary schools the fourth week of August. Each school creates and disseminates its own calendar.
